This self contained country cottage is just an hour south of Adelaide in the heart of the stunningly beautiful and rugged central Fleurieu Peninsula and just 10 minutes from the towns of Yankalilla/Normanville. What's the vibe? Your own self contained rustic early settler cottage nestled in your own private garden retreat (part of the greater property where the owners live in a separate homestead). Experience modern rustic styling, roomy luxury King size bed (or two king size singles) with lots of pillows, local produce, and a choice of nooks to curl up with a good book or friend. You have exclusive and secluded use of the cottage with open comfy lounge, dining, full size kitchen, bedroom and ensuite, and your own private garden to relax in - with a large round comfy daybed looking to the views!
As one guest describes it: 'where french provincial meets australiana cottage!' And.. you are free to roam or picnic in the rest of Pear Tree Hollow's 3 hectares of rural garden and the gum tree forest 'butterfly walk'. Central to attractions including Deep Creek Conservation Park, access to the Heysen Trail, horse-riding on white sandy beaches, blue seas and dive sites at Normanville (15 mins) and Rapid Bay, golf courses at Lady Bay and Victor Harbor (20 mins) and 30 minutes to Kangaroo Island Ferry.

Our newest treat for a couple is a 6 metre diameter deluxe canvas Bell Tent set on a clearing in one of our eucalyptus gum tree forests with high views over Inman Valley on your own. Warm yourselves by the fire pit surrounded by sitting logs, or serve up a meal outdoors by the BBQ, and retreat to your spacious bell tent to snuggle, relax or sleep. The site is completely off-grid with fireside for warmth, lots of blankets and quilts for inside the tent, solar lighting and battery power to charge your phones. Outdoor dry drop hole toilet and an outdoor solar shower (warm when the sun shines :) . Plenty of seating and comfort - classic retro leather lounges inside (or out), canvas deck chairs by the fireside, or love seat to snuggle on. Cooking utensils and pans, cutlery, plates, coffee mugs, coffee bodum and wine glasses all included. All pillows, linen and towels provided. Lots of extras. Breakfast included: Muesli, pancake shake, bread, milk (with options), tea and coffee. If you fancy a hot breakfast, enquire within, for our hot breakfast option.
